The Seeds of Love

Love isn’t just something that you say. In fact, if you just say, “I love you,” it is really meaningless. Love is something you do. It is an action verb.

There are some loves that come into your life like a seed breaking through the soil in the spring. You water it in the right amounts and it grows into a fine, strong tree. There may be times when winter comes and the leaves fall, but the root has taken hold and spring comes again.

Some loves are like plants that come only for a season. However, their seeds fall and if the right conditions exist again, there will be new growth.

The best ones are like evergreens. Even though the winter comes, they still keep their shape and colours. And they keep growing.
