In Every Teardrop There's a Rainbow

In every teardrop there's a rainbow
In every life a little pain
For every day of sunshine
There has to be some rain
Take seeds of happiness
In your garden you will sew
They will die with constant sunshine
They need rain to make them grow
When you're going through the dark times
And you think your life is through
Soon the storm clouds will be parted
And the sun will shine for you.

In every teardrop there’s a rainbow
That brings hope for future days
In you my hope is founded
In a million different ways
Just to see your joyful smile
And feel your gentle touch
Makes my life suddenly worthwhile
Though I miss you very much
Even though the rain is falling
The clouds will eventually go away
And it’s your name I am calling
And I expect we’ll have our day
